Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate standard maintenance tools (power tools, hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools) and preventative maintenance technology tools.
  • •Perform maintenance trades and components (low voltage electrical, PLC, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, valves, mechanical, steam, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
  • •Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance with limited direction in a CMMS; document work and conditions and pursue continuous improvement.
  • •Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts following production documentation to deliver to correct location.
  • •Adhere to safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe, clean work environment; ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma required, with Trade School Certificate (or equivalent) in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
  • •5+ years in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance within a food manufacturing or industrial facility, with proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex equipment.
  • •Maintenance/Industrial certification required; demonstrates technical credibility and safe work practices.
  • •Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to identify issues and perform repairs accurately.
  • •Class II Stationary Engineering License is highly valued and considered a plus; exposure to PLC programming, troubleshooting, and controls is an asset.
