Job Summary

Maintenance-focused role providing mechanical and electrical upkeep for a food manufacturing facility. You’ll perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance, read blueprints, operate CMMS, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting continuous improvement and equipment reliability on 3rd shift.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Operate standard maintenance tools (power tools, hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools) and preventative maintenance technology tools.
•Perform maintenance trades and components (low voltage electrical, PLC, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, valves, mechanical, steam, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
•Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance with limited direction in a CMMS; document work and conditions and pursue continuous improvement.
•Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts following production documentation to deliver to correct location.
•Adhere to safety policies and procedures and maintain a safe, clean work environment; ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and FSSC 22000.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma required, with Trade School Certificate (or equivalent) in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance.
•5+ years in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance within a food manufacturing or industrial facility, with proven ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex equipment.
•Maintenance/Industrial certification required; demonstrates technical credibility and safe work practices.
•Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to identify issues and perform repairs accurately.
•Class II Stationary Engineering License is highly valued and considered a plus; exposure to PLC programming, troubleshooting, and controls is an asset.
