Key Responsibilities

•Lead mechanical analysis budgets and oversee structural and thermal analysis for Loft missions
•Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and 3D models using CAD software; develop test plans and procedures for verification activities
•Review and approve test environmental test reports; support AIT of all mission stages and procure MGSE as needed
•Define and document requirements, specifications, and interfaces; coordinate with suppliers, customers, and subcontractors as mechanical POC
•Work with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure successful mission execution and maintain high attention to detail and accuracy

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
•5+ years of experience in spacecraft subsystems, payloads, and vehicle mechanical design and structural analysis
•Detailed understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis
•Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
•Pragmatic vibration testing experience and spacecraft-level FEA experience with at least one solver and pre/post processor (e.g., ANSYS, Nastran)
