Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the execution of software projects within the subsea control production systems department.
  • •Develop and maintain PLC and/or SCADA applications, including creating new functions, troubleshooting, managing source control, and ensuring code quality.
  • •Own key control systems deliverables such as System FDS, Software Requirements Specifications, Software Design Documents, and system test procedures.
  • •Prepare and review project requirements, design specifications, software product requirements, and interface specifications; review test requirements aligned to Codes of Practice.
  • •Collaborate with global engineering teams to meet contract specifications and local regulatory requirements, and review solutions for cross-project standardization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a science-based discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • •Automation experience with strong expertise in PLC and HMI/SCADA technologies (Twincat Soft PLC and Ignition SCADA preferred).
  • •Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols including Modbus TCP, CAN, Ethernet UDP, and OPC UA.
  • •Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and modern software development methodologies.
  • •Ability to drive software development process improvements and deliver small-scale engineering or automation projects.
