Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate a single-blade saw based on production scheduling sheets and required materials.
  • •Ensure materials meet quality specifications (grade, size, moisture content) and perform required setup, feeding, and periodic equipment checks.
  • •Offload and stack material and finished product according to established procedures, including covering/labeling/banding when required.
  • •Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; complete pre-shift startup inspection checklist and perform LOTO as required.
  • •Maintain production records, check compliance with standards, and perform preventive maintenance and participation in safety/continuous improvement programs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
  • •Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; some experience in manufacturing and assembling is preferred.
  • •Working knowledge of basic math is preferred.
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age.
