Job Summary

Manage the delivery and performance of capital infrastructure projects in Health and Science, covering the full project lifecycle from strategic case through post-occupancy. Partner with teams to ensure successful delivery, serve as a key client and commission point of contact, and follow structured project management processes. Proactively monitor progress for compliance with legislation, statutory approvals, and company standards while keeping commission execution plans up to date.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the successful delivery of health and life science capital infrastructure projects of varying size and complexity.
•Act as a key point of contact for clients and project teams related to these commissions.
•Work to structured and recognised project management processes and procedures across the project lifecycle.
•Proactively monitor progress to ensure commissions are managed in line with company values, financial instructions, and industry good practice.
•Update and comply with commission execution plans throughout the commission period, ensuring compliance with legislation, statutory approvals, and mandatory standards.

Key Requirements

•Degree or equivalent education in a relevant field.
•Membership of a chartered institute in the construction industry (e.g., RICS, CIBSE, CIOB, APM, MICE).
•Achieved or working towards a recognised Project Management qualification or chartership (e.g., APM PMQ, NEC PM accreditation, MRICs, ChPP).
•Experience as a Project Manager in a construction project environment; consultancy, health, or life science experience is an advantage.
•Experience delivering to industry best practice (e.g., NHS Capital Investment Manual, RIBA Plan of Work, OGC Gateways) and strong stakeholder management.
