Key Responsibilities

  • •Enable USB4, USB3, Power Delivery, and retimer features on AMD Client and Gaming platforms.
  • •Enable HSIO(UFS) and LSIO technologies and interfaces such as SPI/eSPI/SSPI/SFHIO/I2C/I3C/UART.
  • •Use protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, software tools, and test devices to investigate and resolve USB hardware and software issues.
  • •Define system-level requirements (board, software, retimer, power delivery) based on USB interface specifications.
  • •Review specifications and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to identify root causes and drive resolution of USB-related failures across pre- and post-silicon environments.

Salary: USD 119,000 - 204,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Experience with system enablement and debug in industry, research, academic, or related technical environments.
  • •Experience capturing and analyzing high-speed protocol traces for USB4/USB3 (and related technologies).
  • •Hands-on experience scripting/automation with languages such as Perl, Ruby, Shell, Python, or similar.
  • •Experience reviewing, debugging, and modifying C/C++ firmware or embedded software.
