Key Responsibilities

  • •Support design management for multidisciplinary projects, coordinating architectural, engineering, and specialist consultant inputs across project stages under the Design Manager’s guidance.
  • •Act as Architect of Record, independently ensuring technical accuracy, completeness, and code compliance of architectural drawings and specifications.
  • •Review architectural and multidisciplinary design packages for permitting/approval readiness and coordinate design revisions based on technical/non-compliance findings.
  • •Manage permitting and approval processes with local authorities (e.g., DDA, Dubai Municipality, Trakhees), including submissions, tracking approvals, and resolving authority comments.
  • •Chair and coordinate design review meetings, mentor junior architects/design team members, and support teams through concept to construction documentation while maintaining design intent consistency.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • •Good post-graduate experience in architectural design and design management within the UAE/GCC region.
  • •Proven experience as an Architect of Record or Design Manager, including obtaining design approvals through DM and DDA (or equivalent local permitting authorities).
  • •Strong knowledge of UAE/GCC building codes, local authority regulations, and permitting/approval processes.
  • •Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools.
