Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform standard laboratory support activities per scope of work and agreed timelines, following procedures and documenting activities.
  • •Carry out laboratory tasks including housekeeping, equipment performance checks (e.g., balances and pipettes), weighing and dispensing, glassware washing, and equipment cleaning/operational readiness.
  • •Manage laboratory waste streams according to agreed processes, ensuring correct documentation and labelling for waste service delivery.
  • •Maintain laboratory chemical and consumables supply across multiple labs/buildings using the Avantor inventory management system.
  • •Provide high level customer service, engage with the science community to understand requirements, and adhere to Health and Safety/GMP expectations while raising process improvement opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •GCSE English and Math's (or equivalent).
  • •Knowledge of Health and Safety expectations in the workplace.
  • •Understanding of customer service roles, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • •Experience working to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • •An understanding of GMP in the Pharma industry.
