Job Summary

Support underground natural gas storage field and well operations by applying technical expertise in well integrity, risk management, and regulatory compliance. Plan and execute O&M activities for assigned assets using API standards, collaborate across engineering and operations teams to hit deliverability and reliability targets, conduct well integrity threat evaluations and risk assessments, and maintain data systems and applications used to manage well and risk information.

Key Responsibilities

•Plan and execute operating and maintenance activities for assigned gas storage assets in line with company procedures and API 1170/1171 standards.
•Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to meet deliverability, injectivity, and reliability targets.
•Identify, evaluate, document, and mitigate well integrity threats.
•Perform risk assessments, including threat evaluation, risk ranking, and long-term integrity planning.
•Maintain and continuously improve data systems and applications, including the Gas Storage Database, Well Risk Matrix, Logging Schedules, and Well Files.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Geological Sciences.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in underground natural gas storage or regulated gas industry, including work with depleted reservoirs.
•Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, including material balance, performance monitoring, and forecasting.
•Working knowledge of well operations (wellbore/wellhead design and downhole operations) and familiarity with well logging techniques and interpretation.
•Ability to perform well integrity risk assessments and support regulatory interactions (e.g., PHMSA and state agencies) while managing multiple projects within budget constraints.
