Job Summary

Serve as a trusted Health & Welfare benefits advisor and lead consultant point of contact for clients, developing and executing employer-sponsored benefits strategies. Research, analyze, and evaluate medical, life, disability, and other benefit plans; quantify options and risks; and negotiate terms with carriers and vendors. Own project plans through open enrollment and ongoing deliverables, including CRM (Salesforce) updates and guidance/supervision of junior team members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, implement, and manage employer-sponsored benefits programs.
•Develop and execute client strategic plans and deliverables, including exploring alternatives and quantifying financial implications and risks.
•Negotiate terms, conditions, coverage limits, and pricing with carriers and vendors.
•Maintain ongoing client relationships and serve as subject matter expert on Health & Welfare benefits and related products/services.
•Manage project plans to ensure timely client deliverables, including open enrollment support, presentations, and supervising/guiding junior team members as needed, with client data entered into Salesforce.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 64,000 - 109,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of health and welfare consulting experience.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
•Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required.
•Comprehensive knowledge of carrier products and services, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and HealthCare Reform.
•Ability to effectively manage projects, times, and organize work while providing outstanding client service.
