Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide direct oversight of preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs for fixed equipment assets.
  • •Supervise and assign work to hourly maintenance department employees; support training, performance, and discipline in line with policies and agreements.
  • •Coordinate contract maintenance and work closely with planning and operations supervisors to ensure equipment maintenance needs are met.
  • •Ensure maintenance compliance with the preventive maintenance schedule and inspect daily operations and completed projects for quality and reliability.
  • •Maintain CMMS entries and required paperwork (shift reports, material requests, timecards) and support risk assessment and SOP development activities.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree from a vocational/technical school preferred.
  • •Minimum 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
  • •Experience in an underground mining environment with a good understanding of underground hard rock mining operations.
  • •Working knowledge of underground hard rock mining equipment maintenance processes and procedures.
  • •Must be computer literate and proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook; prior supervisory experience preferred.
