Job Summary

Provide technical leadership for hydraulic systems design and delivery within building services projects. Lead medium-sized multidisciplinary efforts, apply safety-in-design processes, and ensure designs are safe, compliant, and sustainable. Prepare and review technical reports, support bids and client proposals, maintain strong client relationships, and contribute to quality, safety, and OH&S systems. Use and review BIM models and coach others to strengthen team capability.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide key technical expertise across hydraulic engineering projects and provide technical input and leadership for building services work.
•Prepare high-level technical reports and review medium-sized project reports to ensure quality and compliance.
•Apply safety in design processes across projects and support quality, safety, and OH&S systems including auditing.
•Use and review BIM models as part of project delivery and help drive multidisciplinary coordination.
•Support bids, proposals, and pursuits with strong technical and client-focused input; develop client relationships and coach junior team members.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
•Typically 6–10 years’ relevant experience as a hydraulic engineering professional.
•Experience providing technical expertise across a broad range of projects.
•Demonstrated ability to apply safety in design processes and prepare/review technical reports.
•Working knowledge of BIM software and model review processes.
