Key Responsibilities

•Install and document new or updated inside plant cable infrastructure (copper, coax, fiber) including conduit, trays, and associated elements in the Pentagon, Mark Center, and NCR facilities
•Perform move/add/change activities related to copper, VOIP, and fiber optic cabling infrastructure as directed by the team lead
•Install, maintain, and repair voice and data communications systems and interpret cabling diagrams and schematics
•Test, locate, install, and repair cabling infrastructure; verify work orders and equipment receipt; troubleshoot and escalate problems as needed
•Label, route, document and maintain network configurations and ensure safe, tidy cabling and compliance with DISA J6 and industry best practices

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 34.74 - 47 hourly

Key Requirements

•Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience required; an additional 2 years of related technical experience may be substituted for degree
•Active Top Secret security clearance required
•Familiarity with BICSI rules, regulations, and standards
•Ability to communicate effectively with personnel of various expertise levels and maintain strong customer support in a high-visibility environment
•Ability to work with power tools and ladders; must be able to collaborate with supervisors and maintain high attention to detail
