Job Summary

Originate and process residential mortgage transactions while advising clients on home lending solutions that match their needs and objectives. Build new client relationships through prospecting and referral development, manage the loan process from application through closing, and maintain strong client satisfaction and loan quality. Work in a branch environment providing in-person services, stay current on mortgage and real estate trends, and develop deep knowledge of KeyBank products and competitive offerings.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect home lending business to build and develop new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process family residential real estate mortgage transactions in line with Home Lending process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients with detailed information about mortgage options, interest rates, and terms to support informed decisions.
•Gather documents during loan registration and serve as primary point of contact through the loan process.
•Work in a branch environment to provide in-person services 4+ days/week and maintain knowledge of market and mortgage industry trends.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 15.5 hourly

Key Requirements

•3+ years’ experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and TIL regulations plus Equal Credit Opportunity Act and RESPA regulations (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Strong communication and customer service skills.
•Proficiency in sales and service skills, including tele-consulting, prospecting, networking, and COI relationship management.
