Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop production-grade APIs and service layers exposing personalisation and recommendations to consuming applications and digital experience layers.
  • •Build and evolve web-based applications and user experiences.
  • •Create model-serving and inference integration layers supporting real-time and batch recommendation patterns.
  • •Implement reliable, scalable, low-latency services with resiliency, observability, performance, and operational readiness.
  • •Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to help establish engineering standards and best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years building scalable, resilient, maintainable microservices and web applications in modern cloud environments.
  • •Hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot to build production backend services.
  • •Frontend development experience with React framework strongly preferred.
  • •Strong system design and distributed architecture knowledge, including concurrency, async processing, idempotency, exception handling, and circuit breakers.
  • •Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka (or similar), plus SQL/NoSQL database experience and data management understanding.
