Key Responsibilities

  • •Enter measurement and test equipment into the calibration program per procedures.
  • •Maintain calibration information databases and calibration history records, including equipment specifications and accuracy.
  • •Coordinate calibrations with internal personnel and contract calibration laboratories.
  • •Perform in-house calibrations following calibration procedures and documentation, and notify personnel of out-of-limit or missing equipment.
  • •Assist with development and maintenance of in-house calibration procedures and spreadsheets/formulas; provide engineering analysis and guidance for metrology issues.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •1–3 years of experience in an office or technology-related environment.
  • •Experience with ESD calibration and electronic measurement equipment (e.g., digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, flow meters, digital thermometers, balances, pressure gages) and mechanical measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, depth gages, torque wrenches).
  • •Knowledge of ISO 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 and -2.
  • •Knowledge of a medical device development and manufacturing environment (FDA QSRs, ISO 13485 preferred) and strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
