Job Summary

Operate fluid bed or rotary drying equipment and associated conveying systems to dry aggregates safely and efficiently. Read job specifications, start up machinery, adjust operating parameters, and monitor temperatures, airflow, and moisture to meet production specs. Receive bulk truckloads, operate a front-end loader to supply material, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot minor issues, and maintain production records while following all safety policies and PPE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
•Operate and adjust dryer equipment to maintain set parameters and product quality.
•Receive bulk truckloads of aggregates and operate a front-end loader to fill bulk material silos to meet daily production demands.
•Perform routine machine maintenance and startup machinery for daily production.
•Follow safety policies and PPE requirements; identify/report hazards and maintain production records and housekeeping.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•1+ year of manufacturing experience.
•Ability to work with little supervision and follow operating procedures, safety rules, and production instructions.

•Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills (front-end loader/heavy equipment experience preferred).
