Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure per-shift operations comply with HSE regulations, including PPE use, near-miss reporting, and BBS to support Goal Zero.
  • •Develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and safety; conduct detailed analysis of existing processes and recommend solutions.
  • •Monitor and analyze process data (including trends) on extruders/feeders/equipment, and perform process capability and statistical studies to support operational excellence.
  • •Lead corrective actions through root-cause analysis, propose updates to preventive measures based on breakdown analysis, and manage deviations during runs.
  • •Support operational excellence activities such as scrap/off-spec reduction, changeover planning, dust reduction (5S/OCS), and compliance with standards like ISO and GMP.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma/Degree in Plastics Technology or Polymer engineering.
  • •Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the plastics industry from the masterbatch industry.
  • •Hands-on knowledge of extruder operations (including screw configurations), loss-in-weight feeders, and under-water pelletizers systems with troubleshooting.
  • •Thorough understanding of process improvement and statistical methods for data-driven decision-making in manufacturing environments.
  • •Certifications in ISO and/or 7QC tools or Lean-6Sigma are an added advantage.
