Key Responsibilities

  • •Record issued documents and drawings according to project life cycle procedures and maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing information.
  • •Prepare and maintain the Master Document Register throughout the project and provide the project manager with schedules of documents received and transmitted, including revisions.
  • •Receive/download drawings and documents from EDMS and file them in the appropriate directory for client and project needs.
  • •Circulate received/downloaded documents to the project team in both the client EDMS and WSP CDE, following project procedures.
  • •Upload drawings and documents onto EDMS according to the schedule provided by the Project Manager and perform high-level reviews of life-cycle-controlled documents, including checking for inconsistencies, revision changes, and format.

Key Requirements

  • •Ideally 4–6 years’ experience in document and data management in a multi-discipline detail design engineering environment.
  • •Experience setting up Document Control for projects and working across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • •Proficiency uploading/downloading using online collaborative websites and EDMS tools.
  • •Strong organizational and methodical approach with excellent time management to meet deadlines.
  • •Excellent communication skills for daily coordination with a UK-based project team.
