Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates in an inspection center to achieve production, inventory, and quality goals.
  • •Manage the safe movement of cars in and out of the inspection center while meeting daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, identify strengths and weaknesses, and coach employees with performance management and feedback.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory; partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on repair cost and vehicle quality.
  • •Train teams using quality control standards and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards to minimize re-checks, re-work, and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and understanding of reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years), plus ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work standing for extended periods with safety equipment.
