Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with native mobile engineers to design, build, and evolve the Android platform.
•Migrate the app from React Native to native Android using Kotlin with strong architectural foundations.
•Define and apply best practices for native development while partnering with the wider mobile engineering community.
•Improve app performance, robustness, and overall quality by addressing technical debt and resolving defects.
•Work cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features leveraging native Android capabilities.

Key Requirements

•Build and ship production Android applications in Kotlin, including publishing to the Google Play Store.
•Have a solid understanding of Android frameworks, platform APIs, and native app development best practices.
•Experience working on modern, high-engagement mobile apps focused on performance, reliability, and user experience.
•Demonstrate a quality mindset by raising engineering standards through thoughtful design, testing, and maintainable code.
•Be motivated to create broad impact by improving processes, tooling, and automation for mobile engineering across teams.
