Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, maintain, and optimize the database environment for cross-border payment products using Alibaba Cloud and Google Cloud.
  • •Write automation scripts/programs to configure and manage database instances and tables, improving automation continuously.
  • •Plan and maintain database backup, recovery, and governance to ensure secure and reliable database operations.
  • •Design and review database table construction, usage specifications, and storage structures for reliable and efficient data access.
  • •Research and implement database monitoring systems and middleware to detect performance issues quickly and ensure consistency and high availability.

Key Requirements

  • •More than 4 years of experience in database work in the Internet industry, including managing large clusters and designing/implementing relational databases.
  • •Proficiency in PostgreSQL high availability and cluster management, including synchronization/storage mechanisms, and experience with pgpool-II middleware.
  • •Proficiency in Redis and Redis Cluster management and best practices.
  • •Familiarity with Linux command-line usage, shell scripting, and at least one programming language with development capability.
  • •Strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills, with rigor and a strong sense of responsibility.
