Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead SRE initiatives for Java-based microservices and monolithic applications supporting airline operations and Passenger Service Systems (PSS).
  • •Establish and continuously improve system reliability by defining and managing SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.
  • •Lead and facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) for complex production incidents and drive preventive actions.
  • •Drive architectural enhancements for performance, scalability, resilience, availability, and operational efficiency (e.g., caching and distributed system design).
  • •Own CI/CD pipeline standards, GitOps practices, infrastructure automation strategy, and the Docker/Kubernetes containerization and orchestration standards for the team.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • •6-8 years of experience in software engineering, SRE, or production support for Java applications.
  • •Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, with troubleshooting of complex production issues in enterprise environments.
  • •Hands-on, mandatory experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, orchestration, and production deployment.
  • •Proficiency with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, or Datadog, plus strong SQL knowledge for database performance tuning.
