Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and execute the regional communications strategy for Germany & Switzerland, coordinating with regional leadership, stakeholders, global communications, and marketing
  • •Drive external communications and media relations, including building a media network, handling press briefings, and writing and distributing press releases
  • •Own internal communications across the region, covering change communications, leadership messaging, town halls, newsletters, and intranet content
  • •Advise and coach senior leadership and spokespeople on communications strategy and media relations, and plan and coordinate media training
  • •Lead crisis and issues communications planning and response as the local point of contact for crisis communications

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or qualification in Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related discipline
  • •Extensive hands-on corporate communications experience with strong media relations and internal communications, ideally in a multi-country/global environment
  • •Proven project and change communications experience in a matrix or international setting
  • •Deep knowledge of communications principles across media relations, internal/external communications, and traditional and digital channels
  • •German proficiency at C2 (native-speaker level) and very advanced English proficiency (spoken and written)
