Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical expertise in topside/subsea electrical engineering activities for subsea projects.
  • •Develop engineering solutions for subsea projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • •Develop and review electrical panel designs for AC/DC power (up to 1000 V) and communication to subsea equipment up to 100 km away.
  • •Perform power and communication analysis (using PSpice or equivalent) and support test philosophies and procedures for topside and subsea electrical equipment.
  • •Promote HSE compliance by ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and conducting risk assessments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering.
  • •Proven electrical engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with subsea project experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of subsea engineering principles, subsea systems, and relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO).
  • •Proficiency using subsea engineering software tools, such as subsea design and analysis software.
  • •Demonstrated project management skills and excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
