Job Summary

Join the Technical Consulting Division to support offshore and subsea projects as a Senior Electrical Engineer based in Chennai. Provide technical expertise across topside/subsea electrical engineering front-end activities, helping develop engineering solutions compliant with relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO). Develop and review subsea controls electrical designs for power and communication, conduct power/communication analyses, support testing philosophies, and ensure HSE compliance across engineering work.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical expertise in topside/subsea electrical engineering activities for subsea projects.
•Develop engineering solutions for subsea projects while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
•Develop and review electrical panel designs for AC/DC power (up to 1000 V) and communication to subsea equipment up to 100 km away.
•Perform power and communication analysis (using PSpice or equivalent) and support test philosophies and procedures for topside and subsea electrical equipment.
•Promote HSE compliance by ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations and conducting risk assessments.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering.
•Proven electrical engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with subsea project experience.
•Strong knowledge of subsea engineering principles, subsea systems, and relevant codes and standards (e.g., API, ISO).
•Proficiency using subsea engineering software tools, such as subsea design and analysis software.
•Demonstrated project management skills and excellent communication with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contractors.
