Key Responsibilities

  • •Create detailed drawings of substation equipment physical arrangements and overhead lines for 400/275/132 kV.
  • •Draft and maintain overhead line design drawings including tower detailing, plan/profiles, assemblies, and conductor clearance diagrams.
  • •Develop and maintain SLDs, schematics, and substation layouts, sections, and elevations.
  • •Create detailed primary plant and related drawings (foundations, trenches, drainage, steel structures, fencing, grounding/earthing, lighting, reticulation, control building).
  • •Coordinate electrical layout drawings with other disciplines, manage versions/records, and update drawings based on design and site changes; provide support during site visits and resolve discrepancies.

Key Requirements

  • •Draughting Design Certificate.
  • •Formal proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Revit (AutoCAD preferred).
  • •5-7 years of MV and HV substation and overhead line draughting experience.
  • •Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components and integration with architectural/civil requirements.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
