Key Responsibilities

•Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
•Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment including electrical/brake/cooling systems, engines (gas/diesel), transmissions, clutches, differentials, and related systems.
•Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using tools and instruments; road test vehicles to confirm diagnoses.
•Manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
•Complete repair orders and DOT documentation accurately, upload work photos, and maintain compliance with safety/health/environmental policies and federal regulations.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/GED and 3+ years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education/certification and experience).
•Obtain Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
•Ability to successfully complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical prior to employment (or submit a valid DOT medical card with more than 4 months remaining).
•Must be at least 21 years old and have a safe driving record with a valid state-of-residence driver’s license.
•Class C driver’s license required; must hold/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
