Key Responsibilities

  • •Foster positive employee and labor relations, including facilitating workplace investigations under the guidance of the site HR leader.
  • •Collaborate with plant management to support hourly employee retention and manage job/vacation bid processes; assist with onboarding and job fairs.
  • •Communicate HR policies and available resources (including for FMLA/LOA/ADA) to empower employees with knowledge and materials.
  • •Maintain accurate HR records in HRIS and assist with HR audit preparation and oversight, including SMETA/SWA.
  • •Work with the site HR leader on HR policies and procedures, handle employee inquiries and records management, and analyze HR data for workforce planning recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field plus 2+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of employment law practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • •Proven ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
  • •Preferred: bilingual Spanish (or another language) and experience administering HR programs using HRIS systems such as Workday.
