Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver English lessons aligned to the curriculum to inspire students and achieve strong learning outcomes.
  • •Plan, prepare, and present sessions for the full ability range, organizing resources and creating engaging classroom environments.
  • •Assess and track student progress, recording development using Target Tracker and using assessment data to inform planning and intervention.
  • •Manage classes effectively and maintain positive relationships with pupils while following the school’s behaviour policy.
  • •Collaborate with colleagues, work with parents, support school events and activities, and run a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
  • •Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience.
  • •Experience working with students for whom English is not their first language.
  • •Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child with a high level of professionalism and child well-being in mind.
