Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, prepare, and process export, import, and trans-border trade activities by country.
  • •Conduct day-to-day trade activities to ensure compliance, including shipping documentation, export license determination, HS classification, valuation, and Incoterms.
  • •Support trade compliance process implementation and adherence to FTZ requirements with internal teams and external partners.
  • •Perform and manage administrative support for shipping/receiving, including filing export transactions with CBP via ACE/AES for ITNs and related documents.
  • •Schedule and manage movement of finished goods, complete required paperwork, and perform SAP transactions for accurate inventory management.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree in a related field).
  • •2+ years of experience in international trade compliance.
  • •Experience with global freight forwarding and customhouse broker operations.
  • •Working knowledge of customs regimes (harmonized tariff schedules, customs valuation, country of origin rules, free trade programs, import VAT) and US law for banned/boycotted countries.
  • •Experience with inventory processes (e.g., parts flow, FIFO, JIT, Kanbans) and MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
