Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain compliance with safety, food safety, and security standards.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on automation, robotics, and control panels.
  • •Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment, act as an escalation point for lower level technicians, and escalate to leadership or vendors as needed.
  • •Document work in CMMS and ticketing systems and lead root-cause analysis for major downtime events.
  • •Mentor maintenance personnel, support commissioning of new controls systems with engineering, and audit vendor work for quality and SLA performance.

Key Requirements

  • •4–6 years of experience with conveyor, automation, robotics, and PLC troubleshooting/programming plus communications protocols (e.g., Profi, DeviceNet, Ethernet TCP/IP).
  • •Advanced understanding of PLCs and automated processes, including in-depth experience with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs for programming, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.
  • •Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree in electronic technology or equivalent preferred).
  • •Ability to travel for business purposes as necessary (up to 10%).
