Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the link between the main kitchen and our residents; assist the chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys and ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • •Monitor stock rotation; comply with company policies and procedures following COSHH and HACCP guidelines; assist with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties.
  • •Support the wider kitchen and care home teams; communicate effectively with residents and colleagues to ensure a high standard of dining experience.
  • •Maintain high standards around the home and contribute to residents feeling at home during meals.
  • •Contribute to a positive dining experience by delivering consistent, high-quality meals and service.
