Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for Trane Technologies customers in a defined commercial market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, using air conditioning theory, pipe fitting knowledge, blueprints, and hand tools. Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers for installations and repairs, while ensuring safety standards and proper tracking of company assets. May work overtime/weekends and occasionally stay overnight.

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and syncing work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at the customer location.
•Diagnose and repair HVAC units using cutting-edge software/technology, hand tools, and blueprints or engineering specifications.
•Work flexibly including overtime and weekends as needed, with occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 5+ years of HVAC experience (technical school/formal training preferred).
•Knowledge of air conditioning theory and experience commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone/iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations.
•EPA Certification.
