Key Responsibilities

  • •Own outcomes for core payment operations metrics, including cost, first-resolution rate, defect rate, and operational loss.
  • •Co-shape the roadmap with the Product Manager and Engineering Lead, serving as both operations and technical/product voice.
  • •Design and deliver the AI transition by shipping AI-assisted workflows, defining evaluation and observability foundations, and validating scalable design patterns.
  • •Build the leadership bench by growing senior individual contributors and Technical Leads into future leaders.
  • •Represent Payment Operations in cross-functional forums including Risk, Compliance, Analytics, Workforce Management, Quality, Training, Internal Audit, and PayOps leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years in operations, product-ops, or product roles in fintech/payments/high-growth tech with end-to-end domain ownership (problem to shipped, measurable impact).
  • •Partner directly with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead to co-shape a roadmap.
  • •Hands-on experience shipping an AI/agent/LLM-driven workflow in an operational or product context.
  • •SQL literacy and code literacy to work with data/code and validate what AI tools produce.
  • •Comfort with software development principles and executive-facing communication across operations, product, and engineering.
