Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the repair of MHE, including monitoring/trending, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.
  • •Conduct installation and repairs on electrical and lighting issues, dock doors, and dock plates.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) within manufacturer guidelines and established timelines (e.g., oil/filter changes, calibration, belt changes, inspections, lubrication).
  • •Log time and materials into a computerized maintenance management system.
  • •Interpret and understand plans, specifications, schematics, and operating/maintenance manuals; perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance, or 4 years of direct experience.
  • •Vocational/technical diploma or associate's degree in a technical maintenance/vocational school (plus).
  • •Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact productively with personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, or scissor lift.
  • •Ability to read and follow oral and written instructions and interpret work orders, daily reports, and machine manuals.
