Job Summary

Provide day-to-day engineering oversight and technical support for the overhaul and repair of gas turbine engines at an FAA-regulated facility. Interpret engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications to develop work scopes, resolve technical service issues, monitor reliability and test cell performance, and drive continuous improvement. Lead or support service difficulty investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions, and produce clear technical reports while coordinating with cross-functional teams on shift schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide day-to-day engineering oversight and technical support for engine overhaul and repair, including PT6, PW300, and PW500 models.
•Develop and define engine work scopes and resolve technical service issues encountered during repair processes.
•Monitor and analyze trends in engine hardware reliability and test cell performance, including reject data.
•Support continuous improvement initiatives in assembly and repair processes.
•Lead or support service difficulty investigations using root cause analysis and develop corrective actions; prepare technical reports and documentation.

Key Requirements

•Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related technical field.
•Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting gas turbine engine maintenance, overhaul, or repair in an MRO, OEM, or Airline environment.
•Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, technical manuals, and repair specifications.
•Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues in a production or maintenance environment and drive timely resolution.
•Working knowledge of gas turbine engine systems and components, such as compressors, turbines, combustors, and accessory systems.
