Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement department strategic plans, processes, and procedures, and improve integration between the team and other departments.
  • •Manage the network operations budget and lead improvements and growth to network operations processes and capabilities.
  • •Lead and direct the Network Operations Team to ensure stable operation of CBP’s network infrastructure, including maintaining, supporting, and optimizing network, server infrastructure, network security, telecommunications systems, and service desk.
  • •Set priorities for monitoring and maintenance of network systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, and wireless.
  • •Ensure effective monitoring and response to hardware, software, and network problems; coordinate routine testing and analysis and direct activities to resolve issues timely.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 134,522.12 - 229,101.36

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to obtain a CBP Background Investigation/clearance; some billets may require DoD Secret or Top-Secret access.
  • •Relevant certifications such as ITIL v3, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking and Telecommunications.
  • •Minimum of ten (10) plus years of senior-level networking experience administering enterprise infrastructures in large complex enterprises.
  • •Working knowledge of networking concepts, infrastructure, and equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) and experience implementing enterprise monitoring for servers, networking devices, and applications.
