Key Responsibilities

•Develop and implement department strategic plans, processes, and procedures, and improve integration between the team and other departments.
•Manage the network operations budget and lead improvements and growth to network operations processes and capabilities.
•Lead and direct the Network Operations Team to ensure stable operation of CBP’s network infrastructure, including maintaining, supporting, and optimizing network, server infrastructure, network security, telecommunications systems, and service desk.
•Set priorities for monitoring and maintenance of network systems, including LANs, WANs, Internet, intranet, and wireless.
•Ensure effective monitoring and response to hardware, software, and network problems; coordinate routine testing and analysis and direct activities to resolve issues timely.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 134,522.12 - 229,101.36

Key Requirements

•Ability to obtain a CBP Background Investigation/clearance; some billets may require DoD Secret or Top-Secret access.
•Relevant certifications such as ITIL v3, CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking and Telecommunications.
•Minimum of ten (10) plus years of senior-level networking experience administering enterprise infrastructures in large complex enterprises.
•Working knowledge of networking concepts, infrastructure, and equipment (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers) and experience implementing enterprise monitoring for servers, networking devices, and applications.
