Job Summary

Drive a tractor-trailer combination or truck (26,000+ GVW) to transport and deliver equipment and materials to suppliers, customers, and storage/processing locations. Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and all applicable DOT regulations. Handle loading/unloading support, secure freight, perform pre-/post-trip inspections, maintain required logs and documentation, and assist in yard operations while reporting defects, accidents, and violations.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive a tractor trailer combination or truck (26,000+ GVW) to transport and deliver equipment and materials while complying with DOT regulations.
•Strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (H&S) standards and provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
•Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, secure material for transport, and maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions following signals.
•Receive dispatch instructions, maintain required logs of working hours and vehicle service/repair status, and obtain receipts/signatures with complete, accurate documentation.
•Provide backup/assistance throughout the yard and report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damages.

Key Requirements

•Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s license (depending on available position).
•Valid Medical Card.
•Twenty-four (24) months verifiable Class A or B driving experience within the last five (5) years.
•No more than two (2) moving violations and no more than one (1) preventable accident in the last three (3) years.
•Must be registered in the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse and able to use or learn automated systems (e.g., electronic logs).
