Job Summary

Lead electrical engineering design for water infrastructure projects in a dynamic ANZ design consultancy environment. You’ll deliver electrical design packages for pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and related systems, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to bids and proposals.

Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Involved in electrical engineering works for pumping stations and equipment, water and wastewater treatment plants, ventilation, fire protection and HVAC systems
•Contribute to the delivery of electrical design packages
•Responsible for electrical systems design including instrumentation, power distribution, control and communications
•Conduct technical studies including modelling and computational analysis
•Prepare proposals, design schedules, budgets and technical and commercial submissions for bid proposals for electrical work
•Mentor junior members of the team

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (CPEng or working towards)
•Demonstrated experience on municipal water and/or wastewater projects
•Experience in a dynamic consulting and design environment (industrial electrical, instrument and control systems)
•Knowledge of project management and quality management procedures (desirable)
•Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to bid proposals
