Job Summary

Lead design and analysis of power generation and distribution systems for multi-site substations and power infrastructure. you will develop electrical calculations, review third-party designs, and prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates while mentoring junior engineers in a multidisciplinary Power & Energy team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and perform design work for transmission and distribution substations, power systems, renewable energy solutions, and protection and control systems across multiple environments.
•Review third-party design documents, procurement lists, and project plans to ensure compliance and quality.
•Develop electrical calculations, including loads, equipment sizing, ground protection, short circuit studies, and protective relaying; create one-line diagrams and substation layouts.
•Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and safety/hasps plans; coordinate with owners, disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients on design and construction.
•Provide guidance and training to entry-level engineers and communicate findings through technical reports and presentations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
•5 to 7 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design for large capital projects
•Engineer in Training Certification
•Experience with operations and project controls for reporting and proposal development
•Proficiency in electrical engineering principles, design/build, permitting, and related regulations
