Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage the supply base to support sourcing for solar and battery-related commodities for Starlink manufacturing.
  • •Provide weekly status reporting and escalate to management when necessary.
  • •Train and mentor the team to continuously improve performance.
  • •Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies for platforms and new product development.
  • •Build and own project budgets, capitalization plans, and capitalization funding requests aligned to program timelines and TCO; benchmark and analyze markets for assigned categories.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations/supply chain management, or material cost control; or 10+ years in one or more of these areas.
  • •Experience negotiating contracts and sourcing global suppliers.
  • •Experience sourcing from a global supply base and interfacing in person with suppliers worldwide.
  • •Experience in the solar and/or battery field.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of internal personnel.
