Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee facilitation of 787 Tier 0–2 Requirements Management Processes for new, modified, and deviation packages through initiation and implementation.
  • •Advise and coach design engineers during the requirement change process to ensure evidence, traceability, and impact analyses are collected.
  • •Implement strategic initiatives to improve requirement change management and adherence to Boeing and industry standards; communicate status, risks, and schedule impacts to leadership and stakeholders.
  • •Develop, implement, and maintain program process guidance so systems engineering can be executed consistently across design engineering teams and commodities.
  • •Provide technical leadership, strategic vision, and systems engineering guidance for engineers across Integrated Product Teams implementing 787 airplane system design changes.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or an equivalent non-US qualification related to the work.
  • •14 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Prior role as a systems or design engineer on commercial transport aircraft, with knowledge of ARP4754A.
  • •Proficiency with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Cameo, Jira, or similar.
  • •Ability to lead across cross-functional teams and communicate technical content clearly with diverse stakeholders.
