Job Summary

Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for commercial customers in a defined market. Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems on-site, using HVAC theory, pipe fitting knowledge, mechanical layouts, and blueprints/specifications. Coordinate with a team leader/project manager and customers to plan installations and repairs, maintain customer satisfaction, and ensure safety while supporting occasional overtime, weekends, and overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand requirements for on-site installations and repairs, forecasting issues and synchronizing work.
•Act as direct customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC products and equipment at customer sites.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair HVAC units.
•Maintain flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, typically 5+ years of HVAC experience, with technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
•EPA certification.
