Job Summary

Senior Retirement Specialist responsible for driving sales, delivering retirement education, and managing relationships with plan participants within a defined territory. You’ll conduct seminars, counsel participants on defined contribution plans, lead a team of Retirement Specialists, and collaborate with Program Director to enhance plan adoption and service. Licensure and strong communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

•Schedules and conducts one-on-one and group seminars for potential and existing participants within an assigned territory.
•Assists/supports the Program Director in territory planning, execution strategies and team building/development activities.
•Serves as a financial resource to existing and potential participants by providing counseling and guidance on the features and benefits of defined contribution retirement savings plans which will drive sales growth.
•Responsible for developing relationships with key entity contacts especially at the department head level in order to expand products and services within the plan.
•Helps and supports Program Director, including training on new presentations, product information and policy or process changes, etc.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 68,000 - 127,000 annually

Key Requirements

•FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65 or Series 7 & 66; Life & Health license required
•Three years of related experience in financial, sales or educational services functions
•Strong presentation and communication skills for effective seminar delivery; Excellent relationship-building abilities to foster connections with clients and stakeholders
•Knowledge of defined contribution retirement savings plans and financial counseling
•Ability to develop, manage and retain relationships with participants and prospects in a retirement plan context
