Job Summary

Lead testing and quality efforts for a new team, collaborating with feature delivery groups to ensure strong practices and coverage. Own and improve test strategies, plans, and Agile/STLC execution across web UI, APIs, and DB automation, including performance testing and thorough regression. Extend an existing test automation framework by designing maintainable scripts and pipelines, while working with product and development to build a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead testing and quality efforts for a new team in collaboration with feature delivery teams.
•Oversee and contribute to development and review of test strategies and test plans to ensure appropriate coverage.
•Oversee and perform testing across various applications, including performance and regression testing.
•Extend and improve the existing test automation framework and guide the team in building automated tests.
•Review requirements and design documents, estimate and coordinate testing activities in an Agile environment, and design/develop/maintain automation framework scripts.

Key Requirements

•Experience with end-to-end testing for web UI, API, and database automation.
•Expertise in automation testing using WebdriverIO (TypeScript) and Cypress (JavaScript).
•Experience with Playwright (JavaScript) for automation and manual testing, including Hybrid and BDD frameworks.
•Hands-on with the software testing life cycle (STLC), including creating detailed test plans and cases from requirements and design documents.
•Proficiency in SQL and database querying, plus familiarity with ETL processes and data migration testing.
