Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop long-term manufacturing and equipment capability roadmaps and translate manufacturing challenges into supplier development priorities.
  • •Partner with equipment suppliers to define and influence next-generation hardware, software, automation, and process capability improvements.
  • •Influence global manufacturing strategy by identifying opportunities to improve output, cycle time, equipment utilization, and cost competitiveness.
  • •Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve CVD equipment performance, productivity, reliability, and cost efficiency, including OEE and cycle time.
  • •Leverage AI-enabled analytics and digital manufacturing/data platforms to identify equipment optimization opportunities and accelerate root-cause analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience developing long-term manufacturing and equipment capability roadmaps to support future technology and capacity needs.
  • •Ability to lead engineering efforts improving equipment performance and manufacturing metrics such as availability, throughput, utilization, and OEE.
  • •Experience supporting technology transfer, process qualification, and high-volume manufacturing ramps.
  • •Skill in conducting root-cause investigations and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
  • •Familiarity with AI-enabled manufacturing approaches using analytics and digital manufacturing/data platforms to drive operational improvements.
