Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
  • •Develop and distribute informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling or electronic modes of communication (web-based, secure chat, video) as required.
  • •Manage duty to warn situations according to DoD protocol.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree with 4 years of experience or a high school diploma with 6 years of experience
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract
  • •Must have one of these certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
  • •Must be able to obtain a favorable adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass Confressional Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process
