Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and their families.
•Assist service members in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
•Develop and distribute informational financial materials for service members and families.
•Coordinate and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
•Utilize virtual counseling or electronic modes of communication (web-based, secure chat, video) as required.
•Manage duty to warn situations according to DoD protocol.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree with 4 years of experience or a high school diploma with 6 years of experience
•3+ years of financial counseling experience
•Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract
•Must have one of these certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
•Must be able to obtain a favorable adjudicated Tier 2 investigation and pass Confressional Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process
