Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver inbound revenues from the US to the UK by driving the US corridor strategy and advocating HSBC’s international network and capabilities.
  • •Originate, pitch, and win new business through needs-based sales, building pipeline and maximizing financial returns while managing complaints, escalations, and risks.
  • •Manage and grow a UK subsidiary portfolio of VC-backed technology and life science companies headquartered across the US.
  • •Partner with US-based Global Relationship Bankers to identify and capture pipeline opportunities from existing US parent clients.
  • •Act as a visible ambassador for UK-US cross-border collaboration and provide thought leadership on UK business matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in front-line roles managing complex international client relationships with sales and/or credit experience.
  • •Ability to coordinate complex RFPs and global pitches while building close relationships with Global Relationship Bankers (GRBs).
  • •Extensive knowledge and proven sales success with banking products and services.
  • •Strong risk knowledge, including credit and financial crime, with proven best-in-class risk behaviours.
  • •Ability to coach and develop junior colleagues and coordinate deal teams across departments and geographies.
