Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and execute the R&D roadmap for Emergency 911 software products, ensuring alignment with industry standards like NENA i3 and monitoring emerging technologies such as NG911, IP-based routing, and GIS integration.
  • •Own end-to-end product lifecycle processes including market research, requirements gathering, roadmap planning, prioritization, release management, and post-deployment support; partner with stakeholders (PSAPs, carriers, government agencies) to translate operational needs into features.
  • •Lead cross-functional engineering teams in designing, prototyping, and delivering scalable, resilient, and standards-compliant solutions with interoperability testing and certification.
  • •Promote Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices and champion AI-enabled development and testing, including AI-powered coding, regression testing, and test generation.
  • •Engage with industry bodies and ensure products meet federal, state, and local compliance requirements for emergency communication systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • •8+ years of experience in software product development, including 3+ years in product management or R&D leadership.
  • •Demonstrated success delivering compliant, mission-critical software solutions.
  • •Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • •Knowledge of Emergency 911 systems, NENA i3 standards, and public safety communications.
