Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and use electrical test equipment and interpret test results to support maintenance activities.
  • •Perform maintenance on outdoor lighting systems/assets including distribution boards, high mast poles, flood light fixtures, and related inspection/servicing.
  • •Replace different types of fixtures for high mast lighting and ensure correct aiming/orientation of lights.
  • •Operate and maintain the high mast lowering mechanism.
  • •Maintain Zero Harm culture, follow HSE responsibilities, and report accidents/incidents/breaches while ensuring security and integrity of reporting, finance, and customer information.

Key Requirements

  • •Industrial Training Institute Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Maintenance (3-year duration) or equivalent (post high school).
  • •Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in outdoor lighting or similar.
  • •Ability to safely perform electrical isolations and LOTO and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and breakdown maintenance (BD).
  • •Ability to correctly set up and use electrical test equipment and interpret results (including Digital Multi Meter and Insulation Resistance Tester).
  • •Experience with outdoor lighting maintenance including distribution boards, high mast poles, flood light fixtures, inspection/servicing, and fixture aiming/orientation.
